Varied Domestic and Commercial Surveys
Until 2010, there were three types of asbestos surveys known as Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3, which often people found confusing, causing incorrect surveys to be instructed.
Now, under the HSE Guidance Note HSG 264, the surveys are known as:
Management Surveys
Any non-domestic building constructed before 1999 should have an asbestos survey undertaken.
Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys
these are produced only when a property is to undergo refurbishment or demolition.
