About Demolition Surveys
Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, a demolition survey is a legal requirement before any work starts on a site. It should be done as early as possible, because some ACMs are categorised as licensed by the HSE (Health and Safety Executive). If these are found, a mandatory 14-day notification period applies.
Our demolition surveys in Peterborough find and record where ACMs are on site, so you can put a plan in place before demolition and keep people in the surrounding area safe. The surveys are fully intrusive and involve destructive inspection, so we can reach every area we need to.
