The Types Of Surveys Available
Here at Absolute Asbestos Surveys Ltd, we provide all three types of asbestos surveys. All surveys are detailed and identify where the asbestos is present, the type of asbestos and a solution to remove it.
Management Survey
This is the minimum survey which should be carried out by law. The purpose of this survey is to locate any presence and extent of any potential asbestos-containing materials in the building. The survey will identify ACM’s which have the potential to cause damage or disturb everyday occupancy.
Refurbishment Survey
Before carrying out any aspect of intrusive refurbishment work, an asbestos refurbishment survey must be undertaken. Asbestos refurbishment surveys are used to locate and describe all asbestos-containing materials.
Demolition Survey
An asbestos demolition survey is needed before undertaking any demolition work. In line with asbestos guidance, demolition is only used as a description if the entire building is to be completely removed. An asbestos demolition survey must identify all asbestos containing materials within all areas of a building.
